A 27-year-old student from Telangana was shot dead in Wisconsin, US, during a suspected robbery by unidentified attackers. The student has been identified as Praveen Kumar Gampa. India’s Consulate General in Chicago expressed sorrow over the incident and stated that they are in touch with Gampa’s family.
At least two Indian students from Telangana have allegedly been shot dead in the US in recent months, one from Khammam in November last year and another from Hyderabad in January this year.
