PM Narendra Modi on Saturday spoke to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and "expressed deep anguish about the loss of life and property due to the ongoing conflict" with Russia, PMO said. "[PM] reiterated his call for an immediate cessation of violence...and expressed India's willingness to contribute in any way towards peace efforts," said PMO. Zelenskyy sought India's support in UNSC.
