Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to chair a virtual G20 Leaders' Summit on Wednesday, November 22, with the aim of discussing the implementation of the Delhi Declaration and addressing new global challenges.
However, much like last time, China's President Xi Jinping will not be attending the summit; instead, Premier Li Qiang will represent China following an invitation from India.
The Kremlin announced that Russian President Vladimir Putin will participate in the virtual summit. This marks a change from his absence at the New Delhi G20 Summit in September, where he was represented by Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
