As a result of extensive talks between PM Narendra Modi and Mauritian PM Pravind Jugnauth, the two countries signed maritime security agreement in a bid to deepen ties in a range of areas that will strengthen mutual cooperation and capacities. India also announced USD 500 million assistance to Mauritius. PM Modi said India is proud to help in Mauritius’s development.
