Union minister Nitin Gadkari on Wednesday feared that India is expected to lose revenue of Rs 10 lakh crore or more due to the coronavirus crisis. He said that the situation is so severe that some states do not even have the money to pay salaries next month. The economic woes could further amplify as cases in India are now rising faster than before; it could force some states to shutdown again.
