Investment bank Barclays has said that India's GDP may shrink 6% in 2020-21 amid the COVID-19 pandemic as against a 3.2% contraction estimated earlier. Barclays expects the country's GDP to shrink by 25.5% in the April-June quarter followed by an 8% decline in the July-September quarter. It also revised its growth projection for 2021-22 to 7% from 7.4% estimated earlier.
