The cumulative number of COVID-19 vaccine doses administered in the country reached nearly 139 crore on Tuesday, the Union Health Ministry said. According to the ministry, over 51 lakh doses (51,30,949) were administered till 7 pm on Tuesday. A total of 11,30,621 beneficiaries received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, while 40,00,328 beneficiaries got their second dose on Tuesday.
