The cumulative number of COVID-19 vaccine doses administered in the country crossed 109.59 crore on Tuesday, the Union Health Ministry said. According to the health ministry, over 48 lakh doses (48,39,670) were administered till 7 pm on Tuesday. A total of 13,45,814 beneficiaries received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, while 34,93,856 beneficiaries got their second dose on Tuesday.
