India saw a single-day rise of 5,921 coronavirus infections, taking the country's total tally of cases to 4,29,57,477. The death toll climbed to 5,14,878 with 289 new fatalities reported in 24 hours, the data updated at 9 am stated. The active cases have declined to 63,878.
