India, on Saturday, July 9, registered 18,840 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, 0.1% higher than yesterday. It brought the total caseload to 4,36,04,394. As many as 43 deaths were reported in the country in the same duration, increasing the total reported death count to 5,25,386. A total of 16,104 patients recovered in the last 24 hours, which brought the total recoveries to 4,29,53,980 across the country. India's recovery rate now stands at 98.51%.
