India has reported 16,375 new Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours. With this, the total number of people who have tested positive for Covid-19 in India has risen to 1,03,56,845. A total of 29,091 Covid-19 patients also recovered in the country in the past 24 hours, while the disease claimed 201 lives. As per the latest data released by the Union health ministry, India's active case tally stands at 2.31 lakh; the death toll has risen to 1,49,850; and 99,75,958 people have recovered so far.
