India has reported nearly 87,000 cases in 24 hours, taking the country's total tally past 63 lakh. More than 1,000 daily deaths have also been reported. According to data shared by the health ministry, India has reported a single-day spike of 86,821 cases and 1,181 deaths. The number of active cases has marginally increased to 9,40,705 while 52,73,202 people have recovered. India has so far recorded 63,12,585 cases and 98,678 deaths.
