India registered 6,650 new Covid-19 cases over the last 24 hours — 11.3% lower than the previous day. This brought the total caseload to 3,47,72,626. As many as 374 deaths were reported in the country during the same period, increasing the total reported death count to 4,79,133. India's active caseload was reported to be at 77,516. In the last 24 hours, active cases declined by 775. The country saw a total of 7,051 discharges in the last 24 hours, taking the total recovery rate at around 98.40 per cent which is the highest since March 2020 and total recoveries data reached to 3,42,15,977.
