India reported 1,569 fresh cases and 19 deaths in the last 24 hours, taking the overall death toll of the country to 524260. India's active case tally now stands at 16,400, seeing a dip of 917 cases from the previous day, the Union health ministry bulletin stated. The total number of patients to have recovered from the disease rose to 4,25,84,710.
