India, as the Chair of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO), has invited Pakistan foreign minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and the Chief Justice of Pakistan, Umar Ata Bandial, to participate in the organisation’s foreign ministers’ and chief justices’ meeting. Pakistan is yet to respond to India's invite.
The invitations, at a time when bilateral relations between the neighbours are at an all-time low, were sent through the Indian High Commission in Islamabad.
