India on Monday condemned the abduction of Sikh community leader Nedan Singh by terrorists in Afghanistan. MEA spokesperson Anurag Srivastava said, "We hope that government of Afghanistan would be able to secure safe and early release of Nedan Singh." He added, "Targeting, persecution of minority community members by terrorists at behest of external supporters is a matter of grave concern."
