India achieved another milestone when India overtook the US in the total number of vaccine doses administered so far.According to Union health ministry data on Monday, 32.36 crore vaccine doses have been administered so far under the nationwide vaccination drive. The US has given 33.33 crore Covid-19 doses as of June 28.More than 31.69 crore (31,69,40,160) vaccine doses have been provided by the Centre to states/UTs so far. Of this, the total consumption, including wastages is 30,54,17,617 doses, as per data available at 8 am on Monday.As India overtook America in vaccine doses given, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reiterated the Centre’s commitment to providing free vaccine to all.
