BJP president Amit Shah on Thursday mocked Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah, saying "in Karnataka, Siddaramaiah means corruption and corruption means Siddaramaiah." Speaking at his party's Parivartana Yatre in Mysuru, he appealed to the people to "uproot" the "corrupt" incumbent government in the state. "I dare Karnataka CM to stop BJP from forming next government here," he said. He added that his party's Parivartana Yatre was meant to change the lives of the youth and to assure women in the state of their safety, while working to change the government. He charged the ruling Congress of indulging in "obstructionist tactics," but warned it that the "people of Karnataka have decided for 'parivartana',".
