The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red alert for Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh. The states are likely to receive ‘heavy to extremely heavy rainfall’ today (September 18). People have been advised to stay safe, and there is a possibility of heavy rain in Gujarat on September 19 as well.
