A third-year B.Tech Computer Science student from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Guwahati was found dead in his hostel room on Monday, according to the police. The student, originally from Uttar Pradesh, was discovered in his room at the Brahmaputra Hostel.
An investigation is currently underway, and the body has been sent for a postmortem examination, a police officer confirmed. This marks the fourth student death at IITG this year.
