In Rajasthan's Kota, another student has died by suicide, marking the fourth case this year. Last year, in 2023, 29 students had ended their lives.
The student, who was preparing for the JEE alongside the 12th grade, hanged himself from the ceiling fan in his room.
According to police, the matter came to light after the victim’s parents tried calling him but he didn’t answer their calls. They later reached out to the hostel warden who found his body inside the room.
