The Director-General of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Dr Shekhar C Mande, has said even if the third wave of COVID-19 hits India, the intensity would be low. "We have been able to get a large population vaccinated with first dose and even with second dose. Our vaccines do prevent the disease to a large extent," he explained.
