BM Chairperson, President, and CEO Ginni Rometty received an annual incentive payout of ₹33.3 crore ($4.95 million) in 2016, her biggest bonus since she was appointed the head of the technology company in 2012. Shares of IBM rose by about 21% last year, its first annual gain in four years, outperforming the S&P 500 Index.
