PUBG Mobile is taking a lot of flak in the Indian mobile gaming market. A recent event which has come to light suggests that a 15-year-old boy in Jalandhar stole Rs 50,000 from his father’s account to spend on buying PUBG skins and gaming accessories.

According to reports, the father did not realise that the money was missing from his account until he filed the police complaint. He also mentioned not receiving any OTP nor any transaction messages from his bank.

The details about the transaction came to light when the cyber cell launched an investigation into the matter. It was found that the money has been transferred to a Paytm account from his and the same was used to buy PUBG items.

Among other recent developments, the game has been banned by the Rajkot Police. If found playing the game in the banned region, the police might take necessary actions against the player. It’s not just Rajkot who’s ruling against the online game as several Indian states have expressed views on the game citing that it causes a negative influence on young minds and pushes them into being violent and also getting them addicted.
