Union Home Minister Amit Shah is chairing a high-level meeting in Delhi over the recent spate of targetted killings in Jammu and Kashmir.
The meeting is being attended by the National Security Advisor, Ajit Doval, Army chief General Manoj Pandey, J&K top cop Dilbaug Singh and the chief of the country’s foreign intelligence agency R&AW, Samant Goel.
Jammu and Kashmir has witnessed a spate of targeted killings in the recent past. As many as 8 people have been killed in 27 days. On Thursday, a labourer, Dilkhush Kumar (17) from Bihar, was shot by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Budgam. While in Kulgam, a bank employee hailing from Rajasthan was also killed on Thursday. It was the eighth targeted killing and third non-Muslim government employee.
