Patidar quota stir leader Hardik Patel and his close aide Dinesh Bambhaniya were arrested by Ahmedabad crime branch on Monday evening in connection with an offence of loot, criminal intimidation and assault lodged in Patan town on August 26. While Hardik was arrested near Chikhodara Chowkdi in Anand where he was on way to attend a programme, Bambhaniya was arrested in Rajkot. They were later handed over to Patan police.
