For the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic broke out last year, Gurugram on Sunday recorded more than 1,000 new cases in a day. With 1,084 new COVID-19 cases, the district's active caseload has now gone up to 5,549. A total of 70,141 people in Gurugram have tested positive for coronavirus so far, of which 369 have succumbed to it.
