Actor-turned-politician Naresh Kanodia died at UN Mehta Institute of Cardiology and Research Centre in the city on Tuesday morning. He was 77. He represented Karjan assembly seat from 2002 to 2007. Kanodia is considered as a superstar of Gujarati cinema. He has worked in over 100 Gujarati films. He along with his brother Mahesh, who passed away two days ago, used to run highly successful orchestra Mahesh-Naresh & Party.
