The Gujarat government has allowed marriage gatherings with up to 200 persons. This decision will be effective from 3rd November across the state. Marriage gatherings were earlier held with not more than 100 persons due to the coronavirus pandemic. In closed spaces, a maximum of 50 per cent of the hall capacity will be allowed. Wearing of face masks, maintaining social distancing, provision for thermal scanning and use of hand wash or sanitiser will be mandatory.
