Gujarat Food and Drug Control Administration has busted a trade of fake medicines being circulated to treat serious diseases and arrested several people in connection with the matter while also confiscating large quantities of fake medicines in raids across the state, according to the officials.
Some of those arrested worked as medical representatives of 'benami' companies and used to deliver the fake medicines to doctors, officials said.
