The Gujarat Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama on Wednesday (August 25) announced that offline classes will be held for std 6th to 8th, starting 2nd September. This comes after the Education Minister last week said that a decision on resuming offline classes for students of classes 6 to 8 will be taken after reviewing the COVID situation post August 15.
The reopening of schools is instructed to be done amid strict COVID-19 protocols. Schools are required to follow all the SOPs issued by the state and central government for reopening. Maintaining social distancing in classes and outside the school premises, use of face masks and sanitisers is a must for all students, teachers and non teaching staffs.
