Smrutiben Shah, Director of Gujarati daily Gujarat Samachar, passed away on Thursday evening. She remained the editor of Gujarat Samachar's popular women's weekly "Shri" for four consecutive decades. As editor of the women’s supplement, she provided invaluable guidance for several years.
She also played an exemplary role throughout her life as the wife of Shreyansbhai Shah, the Managing Editor of Gujarat Samachar.
Her final journey will commence at 8.30 am on Friday from GSTV House, next to the ISKCON temple and proceed to Thaltej crematorium.
