The number of Covid-19 patients who have recovered in the Gujarat crossed the Eight-lakh mark on Sunday. The   State's tally of COVID-19 cases rose to 8,20,326 with 455 more persons testing positive for the infection, the state health department said. With the death of 6 more patients, the fatalities increased to 9,997, it said. The state has in all recorded 10,249 active cases of which 253 are on ventilator support. At the same time, 1,063 patients were discharged from hospitals in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of recovered cases in the state to 8,00,075, the department said in a release here. The state's recovery rate stood at 97.53 percent, it said.
