Gujarat's tally of COVID-19 cases rose to 8,23,340 on  Monday with 96 more persons testing positive for the infection, the state health department said. With the death of 3 more patients, the fatalities increased to 10,054, it said. The state has in all recorded 3,465 active cases of which 14 are on ventilator support. At the same time, 315 patients were discharged from hospitals in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of recovered cases in the state to 8,09,821, the department said in a release here. The state's recovery rate stood at 98.36 percent, it said.
