Gujarat recorded 889 new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday, taking the active case tally to 5,675 in the state, the health department informed. The state also reported one fatality due to the infection, the department said, taking the death toll to 10,964. As per the authorities, Ahmedabad reported 315 cases which were the highest among all districts in the state.
