Likewise, with 18 deaths in 24 hours on Thursaday sent the death toll spiralling to 1,754. The state reported recovery of 410 patients, which took the number of discharged persons to 21,506. There are total 6,318 active cases in Gujarat. 66 of these patients are on ventilator support, it added. Cases and fatalities in Ahmedabad continue to rise. The city reported 238 cases and 12 deaths. Total 1,391 deaths, 19,839 cases and 15,051 recoveries have been recorded in Ahmedabad.
