Gujarat's tally of COVID-19 cases rose to 7,84,676 on Saturday with 4205 more persons testing positive for the infection, the state health department said. With the death of 54 more patients, the fatalities increased to 9,523, it said. The state has in all recorded 80,127 active cases of which 679 are on ventilator support. At the same time, 8445 patients were discharged from hospitals in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of recovered cases in the state to 6,95,026, the department said in a release here. 
The state's recovery rate stood at 88.57 percent, it said.
