Gujarat's tally of COVID-19 cases rose to 7,94,912 on Tuesday with 3255 more persons testing positive for the infection, the state health department said. With the death of 44 more patients, the fatalities increased to 9,665, it said. The state has in all recorded 62,506 active cases of which 603 are on ventilator support. At the same time, 9676 patients were discharged from hospitals in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of recovered cases in the state to 7,22,741, the department said in a release here. 
The state's recovery rate stood at 90.92 percent, it said.
