Gujarat's tally of COVID-19 cases rose to 7,91,657 on Monday with 3187 more persons testing positive for the infection, the state health department said. With the death of 45 more patients, the fatalities increased to 9,621, it said. The state has in all recorded 68,971 active cases of which 648 are on ventilator support. At the same time, 9305 patients were discharged from hospitals in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of recovered cases in the state to 7,13,065, the department said in a release here. 
The state's recovery rate stood at 90.07 percent, it said.
