Gujarat's tally of COVID-19 cases rose to 3,05,338 on Tuesday with 2220 more persons testing positive for the infection, the state health department said. With the death of 10 more patients, the fatalities increased to 4,510, it said. The state has in all recorded 12,263 active cases of which 147 are on ventilator support. At the same time, 1,988 patients were discharged from hospitals in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of recovered cases in the state to 2,88,565, the department said in a release here. According to the state health department, 47,45,494 persons have been given the first dose of vaccine and 6,43,855 persons have been given the second dose of vaccine. A total of 53,89,349 persons have been vaccinated so far. There has been no case of adverse reaction or side-effects of Covid-19 vaccine in the State so far. The state's recovery rate stood at 94.51 percent, it said.
