Gujarat's tally of COVID-19 cases rose to 6,33,427 on Wednesday with 12,955 more persons testing positive for the infection, the state health department said. With the death of 133 more patients, the fatalities increased to 7,912, it said. The state has in all recorded 1,48,124 active cases of which 792 are on ventilator support. At the same time, 12,995 patients were discharged from hospitals in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of recovered cases in the state to 4,77,391, the department said in a release here. According to the state health department, 1,00,91,519 persons have been given the first dose of vaccine and 27,51,964 persons have been given the second dose of vaccine. A total of 1,28,43,483 persons have been vaccinated so far.  There has been no case of adverse reaction or side-effects of Covid-19 vaccine in the State so far. The state's recovery rate stood at 75.37 percent, it said.
