Gujarat's novel coronavirus cases surpassed 1,30,000-mark today, taking the state's Covid-19 count to 1,30,391. Gujarat reported highest single-day spike of 1,442 new coronavirus cases on Friday. With the death of 12 more COVID-19 patients, the fatalities rose to 3,396, it said.The number of recovered cases rose to 1,10,490 with 1,279 more patients getting discharged on Friday. The state now has 16,505 active cases, with the condition of 92 patients being critical, it said.The patient recovery rate in the state has reached 84.74 per cent, it said. A total of 61,912 tests were conducted for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours at the rate of 952.49 tests per day per million population. Gujarat COVID-19 figures are as follows: Positive cases 1,30,391, New cases 1,442, Deaths 3,396, Discharged 1,10,490, Active cases 16,505 and people tested so far 41,10,186.
