Gujarat's novel coronavirus cases surpassed 1,00,000-mark today, taking the state's Covid-19 count to 1,00,375. Gujarat reported yet another highest single-day spike of 1,325 new coronavirus cases on Thursday. With the death of 16 more COVID-19 patients, the fatalities rose to 3,064, it said.The number of recovered cases rose to 81,180 with 1126 more patients getting discharged on Thursday. The state now has 16,131 active cases, with the condition of 89 patients being critical, it said. The patient recovery rate in the state has reached 80.88 per cent, it said. A total of 75,487 tests were conducted for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours at the rate of 1,161.33 tests per day per million population. Gujarat COVID-19 figures are as follows: Positive cases 1,00,375, New cases 1,325, Deaths 3,064, Discharged 81,180, Active cases 16,131 and people tested so far 25,59,916.
