Gujarat police have registered an FIR against the founder of the banned organisation Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) and Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun. This comes after he issued a threat ahead of the India vs. Pakistan ICC World Cup 2023 match.
Cyber Crime DCP, Ahmedabad Ajit Rajian said that the FIR was registered against Pannun under sections 121(A), 153(A)(B), and 505 of the IPC, UAPA, and IT Act 66 F. Threatening pre-recorded messages were published on various social media handles, and an attempt was made to spoil the atmosphere, Rajian said.
