After the Supreme Court stayed this year's Lord Jagannath's Rath Yatra and related activities in Odisha's Puri, the Gujarat High Court today stayed the Rath Yatra in Ahmedabad over coronavirus pandemic. A PIL was filed in the court stating that the procession will pass through containment areas of the city. So far, Gujarat has reported 26,141 COVID-19 cases.
