A seemingly disturbed Gujarat high court on Tuesday rejected the request for abortion by a 14-yearold rape survivor, who is currently seven months pregnant. The high court, however, advised the Centre to draw fresh guideline for abortion of advanced fetus in unwanted pregnancies in rape cases and effect changes in law to enable doctors to perform their duty properly.
