The Gujarat government has announced reduction of the charges of Covid-19 RT-PCR test done privately. Now, an RT-PCR done in a private lab will cost Rs 400, while it will be Rs 550 in case the sample is collected from home. Earlier, the cost of lab test was Rs 700, while the one where sample was collected from home cost Rs 900. Additionally, the price of urgent test at airports, too, has been cut from earlier Rs 4,000 to Rs 2,700 now.
