In a significant decision aimed at benefiting thousands of government employees, the Gujarat government has announced a 2% increase in Dearness Allowance (DA), raising it from 53% to 55% of the basic salary. The decision was finalized in a high-level cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel.
