Gujarat has earned the distinction of disposing maximum number of cases pending for the past 10 years.
According to the data of National Judicial Data Grid (NJDG), the lower courts in the state together disposed 3,68,762 cases between 2015 to 2018. In the same period, all subordinate courts across the country had disposed over 12 lakh such cases.
