Along with that, the death toll in the state increased to 1561 after 27 more virus-related fatalities were reported. There are currently 6149 active cases in the state, of which 69 are on ventilators, while the number of people recovered from COVID-19 rose to 17,438 with 348 patients discharged from hospital today. Of these fresh cases, Ahmedabad alone reported 330 more positive patients in the last 24 hours, total coronavirus cases reaches 17,629.
